Leading a STM Medical Team

After The Trip

Time for reflection
The return home means you are almost done! The last details include returning borrowed equipment to the individuals or churches from which it came, filing whatever reports the sending organization has requested, getting photos collated and distributed, and planning a reunion dinner.

Many teams assign the photo collation to a team member with interest or expertise in such matters. Photos are collected from all cameras present on the trip and then can be distributed to all team members via a cd, dvd, or web site.

The reunion dinner has a dual purpose. It's a time for team members to reconnect and it is also a time for team members to reflect with one another (or together) about the way the trip has changed them spiritually, how they anticipate that it will impact them in the future, and how it has changed their views of missions. If you or another team member has the interest and the skills, a video can be shown as a remembrance of the trip.
