Calendar, Part III

In these last few weeks before departure the ministry calendar should be completed. Of course, things can be discovered in-country that will necessitate changing the schedule even after arrival, but there should be at least a working plan that has been agreed to by you, the medical and nursing directors, and the national host. This plan should account for each day's activities, each meal, each night's accommodations, etc.

In any endeavor, particularly one involving people of different customs, cultures, and backgrounds, it is well to keep in mind that an effective leader allows exceptions to the rule for exceptional results or when circumstances demand.
